Julia Writes Nerdy is my passion project. My place to fully nerd out over video games, movies, TV and anything I can imagine.

I started my writing career back in late 2017 with Geek Girl Authority and fell head over heels with the industry. I was pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree in Video Game Design at Full Sail University and quickly went back to complete my Master’s Degree in New Media Journalism and spent years sharing my love for nerdy things on the internet.

Like so many others, after COVID I found myself back in a 9-5 job that I love, but took me away from nerding out on the regular. So this blog is my balance. My goal is to keep this casual and easy, and to make it a place where I can just scream from the rooftops how excited I am that another one of my favorite movie is getting a sequel or my thoughts on my most recent video game adventure.
